Yes — the whole core game runs offline. Online features (world ranking, live scrims, chat, clans, cloud backup) need a connection. Progress made offline syncs when you're back.

No — Play Offline keeps everything on your device. An account adds cloud backup, ranking, scrims, chat, and cross-device play. You can link one later without losing progress.
Sign in on the new device with the same account (CGS ID, Google, or Apple). Your latest cloud backup is offered on startup. If you ever see a backup you didn't expect, read the timestamps before confirming — restoring overwrites local progress, and uploading overwrites the cloud copy.
In-game: Manager → Account → delete. Or via the account portal, or email us. Deletion removes your CGS ID and unlinks your game progress permanently.
The world fills with simulated teams so every season is always full and always moving — over 120,000 of them grow daily. As more real managers join, more of your opponents are real. When you're online, seasons now seed snapshot copies of real players' teams near your power; offline or short-handed, generated rivals fill the gaps seamlessly.
That rival is a real manager's team (a snapshot copy — your result never affects their record). Generated rivals don't have the dot.
Rival teams always draw close to your current power (roughly 0.92–1.10x, hard-capped), and in-season growth can never push an opponent past 1.2x you. Most fixtures should land in a 40–65% win-chance band — winnable but earned. If your season feels broken outside that, tell us via Manager → Support; include your power and league.
Seasons run on a fixed schedule with promotion and relegation between leagues (Silver up through the top tiers). Your fixtures play out automatically; your job is the squad, the upgrades, and the calls. Finish high, move up.
Manager → Purchases → Restore Purchases. Permanent items (No Ads, income boosts, VIP) restore free. Note: purchases are tied to your store account (Google/Apple), so you must be signed into the same store account that bought them.
Never. All ads are optional and rewarded. A one-time No Ads purchase removes them forever, and any permanent purchase suppresses ad prompts.
Field Kit is a monthly auto-renewing subscription (US $4.99/month, regional pricing applies): no ads, 100 crystals and 1 golden key every day, and a gold name frame. It is billed by Apple or Google Play, renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the month, and you can cancel any time in your App Store subscription settings or Google Play → Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it. Full terms: Subscriptions and, on iOS, Apple's standard Terms of Use (EULA).
Refunds are handled by the store you purchased from (Google Play / Apple App Store) under their policies. Purchased crystals/bars already spent may not be refundable.
Gift codes we publish (events, announcements, apologies). Redeem in Manager → Rewards. Codes can have use caps and expiries.
Automated profanity filtering plus human moderator review. Long-press any message to report it. Mutes and bans are at moderator discretion — keep it friendly. Chat is public; never share personal information.
A question drops in world chat on the hour and half-hour. First correct answer within 2 minutes wins crystals (daily cap applies). There's a trivia leaderboard on the Ranks screen.
Create a clan or join one with an invite code. Your [TAG] shows everywhere. Weekly war brackets rank clans by total power; leveling your clan grows the roster and pays every member an income bonus.
Manager → Notifications — per-type toggles (check-in reminders, income-full, clan war events), and quiet hours are always respected (no pings 22:00–08:00 device time).
We ship improvements constantly. Update from your store when you see the prompt — some online features require the current version. If the store hasn't offered the update yet, it rolls out within a few hours.
